service and pride our self in excellence. The Company originated from a joint venture with Johannesburg based Elinem Engineering in June 1993.
It started as a Construction division with the intention of penetrating the ESKOM Power Station environment and various Steam Generating Plants. Elinem ITS Pty Ltd is a part of the Elinem Group.

ELINEM ITS (Pty) Ltd. is a established level 3 B.E.E company, with extensive experience gained over more than 20 years of service to the Engineering sector. With Client satisfaction, cost efficiency and Quality in mind ELINEM ITS decided to get ISO 3834 Part 2 Comprehensive accredited. This Accreditation certifies that all welding activities carried out by ITS is fully traceable and meets the requirements of the International Institute of Welding, International and South African Standards.
To be able to Fabricate and repair pressure equipment, pipe lines and auxiliary equipment Legally in accordance with the Regulations in the PER, SANS 347 and OSHACT it is mandatory for all Welding Companies to be ISO 3834 Certified.

These regulations shall apply to the design, manufacture, operation, repair, modification, maintenance, inspection and testing of pressure equipment with a design pressure equal to greater than 50 kpa, in terms of the relevant health and safety standard incorporated into these Regulations under section 44 of the Act. Occupational Health and Safety Act 1993 (Act No 85 off 1993)
All pressure equipment for the use in the Republic shall be categorized and submitted to the applicable conformance assessments of SANS 347 in addition to the requirements of the relevant health and safety standard incorporated into these Regulations under section 44 of the Act.
SANS 347 – Means the standard specification for categorization and conformity assessment criteria for all pressure equipment. (Design, Manufacture, Installation and Maintenance)
Acceptable Quality systems as per SANS 347 is – ISO 3834 and
ASME VIII-Division.
